Flavor profile: fruityfloral
Prosecco is a sparkling wine from the Veneto region of Italy, made primarily from Glera grapes using the Charmat method (second fermentation in tank, not bottle). The result is lighter, fruitier, and less toasty than Champagne — pear, green apple, white flowers. Dry Prosecco (labeled Brut or Extra Dry) is the Spritz standard. Mionetto, La Marca, and Zardetto are reliable bottles.
